How to apply Foundation

1. Choose the proper foundation brush. Use a small brush, similar to a lipstick brush. A lipstick brush is tapered on both sides with a rounded point.

2. Moisturize your skin. Apply moisturizer to your face first, to create a smooth canvas for the foundation.

3. Shake the liquid foundation bottle well. Place a dab of the foundation into your palm and let it warm for a few seconds.

4. Dip a brush into the foundation. Using the brush, apply small dots of the foundation on your forehead, eyelids, nose, cheeks and chin.

5. Blend the foundation using outward and upward motions. Spread the foundation across your forehead, under your eyebrows and across your eyelids and over your nose. Use circular motions and cover your cheeks and chin. Blend the liquid makeup an inch below the chin and jawline.

6. Blot your face with a tissue to soak up excess oil. Your foundation should feel light and natural on your skin. If it feels too heavy, blot until you remove the excess makeup.

7.Clean your brush after each use with soap and warm water. Air-dry the brush overnight on a paper towel.
